Workshop Description:  Are you on a nonprofit Board, but you’re not confident that you totally understand your role and responsibilities? Join your board colleagues to learn more about your nonprofit board roles & duties. Gain resources, ideas, and strategies to support your vitally important community roles as nonprofit board members. Learn the basic responsibilities of individual nonprofit board members. Often new board members aren’t fully oriented when they join a board. Encourage your board members, both new and experienced, and any board prospects you’re in conversation with, to attend this free, short training over the lunch hour.

This presentation is designed to support Executive Directors and Board Chairs, as well as individual board members. Receive a free sample board job description (just for registering) that you can take back to your nonprofit to edit and adapt. We’ll review this sample job description, which is broken down with a focus on daily responsibilities, monthly responsibilities, annual responsibilities, and ongoing responsibilities. This simple breakdown makes it easy for nonprofit board members to ensure they’re fulfilling their board responsibilities and minimizing board liability.
